I'm still working on a 25 year old set of Lagostina pots and pans. Great set, but about 20 years in, the bottom delaminated on my most used pot (the double boiler). The metal actually bubbled as well, so I decided not to pursue repairing it. I really like the Paderno pot I replaced it with, and have been getting some oos and ahhs over it too.

I bought a set of lagostina at Canadian Tire waaaay back in 1998. $200 on sale from $500. I was still using them until I sold them last year when I moved. I think it's possible if you can catch a good sale..
